Nic Broomhall
Chief Executive Officer
With over 23 years of experience in the civil industry, Nic has successfully led Hardings Group through significant expansion as CEO, nearly doubling the workforce to 115 staff while maintaining the company’s family-oriented culture. His background in project management and experience as a business owner brings valuable insight to the leadership of Hardings’ diverse divisions.
Under his guidance, Hardings continues to achieve substantial growth while strengthening its position in the industry through strategic development and operational excellence.

Monica Holland
Chief Financial Officer
A chartered accountant with over 15 years of experience in tax accounting and business advisory, Monica progressed from public practice to her current role as Chief Financial Officer at Hardings Group following the 2021 merger. She has led crucial technological improvements while driving significant business growth through strategic financial management.Recognised with the Diamond of Devonport award and currently serving as a board member for RSPCA Tasmania, Monica combines her financial expertise with business and community leadership.
Her recent completion of Carbon Accounting training reflects her commitment to sustainable business practices and Hardings’ future growth initiatives.
Divisional Managers

Adam Butler
Project Manager
Starting his career with a CCF apprenticeship and building his way to Project Manager in the Harding Group’s Civil Division, Adam has accumulated 25 years of experience in earthmoving and civil construction. His extensive background includes successfully owning and operating his own civil construction company for 18 years, and managing major infrastructure projects from tender to completion, including hospitals, roadways, and commercial developments.
In his current role, Adam’s hands-on leadership approach and comprehensive industry knowledge drive the successful delivery of complex civil construction projects across the division.

Mark Milligan
Project Manager
As a seasoned civil construction specialist, Mark brings decades of expertise to his role as Project Manager at the Hardings Group Civil Division, having progressed from his initial position as Team Leader. His proven track record includes delivering major infrastructure projects from irrigation, pipeline installations, treated water and sewer systems to subdivision developments and road realignments.
In his current role, Mark leads project and pricing management across multiple initiatives within the division.

Scott Nicolle
Project Manager
As a Project Manager in the companies civil division, Scott brings over 10 years of experience to the role. Moving from a Team Leader position into the role of Project Manager, Scott has delivered numerous civil construction projects including; road upgrades, subdivision developments, retaining walls and roundabout constructions.
Scott tenders on works and manages the delivery of a number of projects for the company’s civil division.

Michael Whiteroad
Project Manager
Michael has over 35 years’ experience in the telecommunication, mining and construction industries, ranging from front line worker to project manager/ supervisor. He has extensive experience delivering projects on time, to safety, quality and environmental industry standards.
In the role of Project Manager, Michael prices works and manages the delivery of a number of projects for the company’s civil division.

Andrew Harding
Project Manager
In the role of Project Manager, Andrew brings with him over 25 years of experience in the road construction industry. Andrew has managed numerous civil, bituminous and asphalt projects, working with councils, builders and private owners, to determine the best solution for the job.
Andrew tenders on works and manages the delivery of projects undertaken by the asphalt surfacing division.

Aj (Andrew) Fowler
Project Manager
In this role, Aj project manages our Linemarking division of the business. This includes acting as the client and stakeholder contact to ensure all linemarking projects within the division are delivered to meet client standards and adhere to government standards.
Aj tenders on works and manages the delivery of projects undertaken by the linemarking division.

Trent Moles
Project Manager
Specialising in asphalt and bituminous treatments, Trent has advanced to Project Manager in the company’s Surfacing Division, building on his strong foundation as a team leader. His extensive background includes managing large-scale surfacing projects and annual resealing contracts.
Trent now oversees project pricing and management across multiple initiatives within the division.

Taylah Swain
Traffic Management Coordinator
Taylah joined Hardings Hotmix in 2013 in this time has had the roles of Administration Assistant and Contract Administrator. In 2024 Taylah took on the role of Traffic Management Coordinator.
Taylah designs all Traffic Management Plans and Traffic Guidance Schemes to the AustRoads Guide, as well as allocating resources to accommodate each projects traffic management requirements for both internal and external projects.

Scott Murfet
Fleet Coordinator
As Fleet Coordinator, Scott manages the plant allocation, including hire, as well as scheduling the fleet to ensure the plant meet project requirements and is available onsite.
Scott has a solid understanding of the National Heavy Vehicle Regulations (NHVR) and ensures truck drivers and relevant parties understand their responsibilities.
HSEQ Systems Division

Jessica Mitchell
Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor
As the HSE Advisor, Jessica supports safe practice by working closely with the delivery team to identify, review and control risk.
As a member of the HSEQ System Team, Jessica facilitates consultation and communication on the performance and improvement of systems, processes and procedures, providing valuable feedback from the field to ensure system compliance and improvement.

John Houton
Quality Assurance Advisor
John has extensive experience in quality assurance, having worked on major projects in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Australia. John possesses excellent knowledge of quality systems and has successfully guided several companies through ISO 9001 accreditation. His expertise includes overseeing earthworks, paving, and concrete works, as well as verifying quality through documented specifications and procedures.
John’s strong communication skills have been developed over years of working with people from various parts of the business world, facilitating his ability to work effectively with professionals, regulatory body representatives, and subcontractors alike.

Rachel Dailey
Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality Administrator
As HSEQ Administrator, Rachel focuses on the development and review of work practices and system elements around health, safety, environment and quality.
As a member of the HSEQ System Team, Rachel provides support and assistance to ensure the company vision and values are driven within the Hardings Group Team.

Human Resources Manager
Jenna has been a valued employee with Hardings Group for over 10 years, working in the areas of HSEQ management. Now Jenna supports the business in the role of Human Resources Manager.
